Yesterday I joined a hot yoga class. I loved The idea of sweating and going deeper into the poses. I am on my fifth day of my Detox and this sweats helped me to get rid of even more toxins.

We have to be careful with the heat, especially if we are having hot flashes and night sweats. Sauna and hot yoga may trigger these.

But if you do it every now and then on a period where you don’t have hot flashes, and you balance it well with cold shower, cooling Food and drink drinks, like a cooling Ayurvedic tea, or mint tea, And oil yourself after the practice with Something like coconut oil, It will help you to keep the balance.

Sauna is my new weekly Habit that I will explain more.

How about you? Have you tried doing sauna or hot yoga? Have you seen any side effects or benefitS?

That sounds amazing Ceylan! I have tried hot yoga a few times. I agree the sweating really helps release tension and feels so cleansing afterwards.

Right? I really enjoyed it but honestly can not make it very often. With menopause and heat waves, I imagine making it mostly once a week especially in winter!

I never tried it before. I am curious about your sauna routine and how you combine it with detox. Thank you.

Great question Dayana! I think of this as another session of Sauna. So I try to go to sauna once a week and then hot yoga another time, which then helps me to detoxify twice a week with sweat. Really a very nice feeling afterwards. Both help the detoxification process, of course sauna more relaxing and hot yoga more active and energising. let me know if you try!
